img10906Broadblue Catamarans, based in Suffolk, has announced a new design to join its growing range of blue water catamarans, which will be launched early next year. The all new Broadblue 375 has been designed along the lines of the popular Broadblue 42 which was first seen at last years Southampton International Boat Show.

img10905The Broadblue 375 has exceptional accommodation for its length, which offers a large saloon with an oak dining table, luxurious seating and a chart table with swing out seat. The galley is also located on the main bridgedeck area which provides a working area with sink, cooker and refrigeration. Stepping down into the hulls gives access to the main sleeping accommodation and heads/shower facilities. Two settee berths are also available for occasional guests. There is an option for an additional head and shower so that each hull area can have its own facilities. The three separate cabins have double beds and ample stowage, allowing up to 8 people to sleep aboard comfortably.

On deck, the now traditional Broadblue entertaining areas offer enormous space for relaxation, with a spacious cockpit and superb boarding and diving steps off the stern of each hull. Moving around the boat will be safe and easy with wide side decks and plenty of handrails.

With 25 years experience in designing catamarans, the Broadblue team have developed a rig that is both easy to handle and highly efficient, which provides very fast passage making under sail in comfort and safety. When its time to take the sails down, the 375 has two 20 hp diesels with saildrive units to make manoeuvrability in tight marinas a pleasure. Two of the Broadblue 375's have already been sold off-plan and the company is offering a special price for the next four building slots at ?119,145 ex vat. (as of 15 September 2004 exchange rate, that amount equals approximately $214,000 US).

With its ownership of the UK's top boat building college and its association with a leading furniture manufacturer, Broadblue has gained an enviable reputation for a high standard of craftsmanship. The new Broadblue 375 is intended to develop that reputation even further.
