img12184Broadblue Catamarans has launched its biggest yacht built to date in the
new Broadblue 46, a luxury catamaran that has been designed and
engineered for long distance, short handed cruising. Her new owner has
taken the builders claims literally and will shortly set out on a
circumnavigating cruise.

The 46 has an interior built by some of the Uk's finest
craftsmen which is the hallmark of Broadblue. With interior joinery in
Light Oak and designer fabrics, the saloon area provides a light, modern
aspect with considerable thought given to the requirements of long periods
aboard. Synthetic Teak and Holly flooring has been used throughout to
reduce maintenance effort. The saloon has been designed with panoramic
windows to increase light and visibility, while seating for eight people
provides a comfortable entertaining facility when not enjoying the massive
cockpit area on deck.

As with all Broadblue Catamarans the 46 is rated to Category A (Ocean),
the highest level of the European Recreational Craft Directive. The
exceptional standards applied to the building of the 46 makes this an
extremely strong vessel and due to its watertight bulkheads and buoyancy
compartments fore and aft, the Broadblue 46 is virtually unsinkable.

The Broadblue catamaran range now comprises the 38, 42 and the new 46.
