The outboard-powered Malibu Flightcraft gives barefoot water-skiers the speed and precision they need.

Barefoot waterskiing takes guts, strength, skill and — here's the kicker — speed. You might not be all that brave, strong or skillful when you first start barefooting, but without speed, you'll never get up on the balls of your feet.

Without precise speed control, you'll never stay on them.

That's where the Flightcraft from Malibu comes in. With a 200-horsepower Mercury OptiMax engine on the transom, the 20-foot-long, 8-foot-wide boat delivers lots of top end, and all the explosive and precise power required to pull barefooters out of the hole.

Highlights of the closed-deck Flightcraft include Kysor Medallion gauges at the helm. A 40-quart ice chest is located under the observer's seat. The rear bench converts to a sun pad. Also standard is a three-color, in-gelcoat graphics package.

The 1,900-pound boat has an eight-person seating capacity. Fuel capacity is 41 gallons.
