The 2016 Hurricane CC 21 OB is built on one of Hurricane’s tried-and-true deckboat hulls, yet its topsides are quite a departure from the norm for this boatbuilder. Instead of the usual loungers and wet bars, this boat is rigged to fish with the attitude of a center console. Does this odd marriage work? When reviewer Gary Reich took to the water on a CC 21, the verdict was a clear “yes”. In fact, he had some choice comments to make, like “Hurricane hit the center of the target,” and “performed better than expected”. Of course, no boat is perfect and Reich had a few flaws to point out as well, but overall this boat seems like it’s going to be a good bet for a large number of anglers. You can get the full scoop by reading Hurricane CC 21 OB: Center Console Deck Boat Delight. If you just need a quick peek at the boat, however, watch this short First Look Video we shot at the Miami International Boat Show.
