Mediterranean boats have a distinct style and flair to their design irrespective of their type. The Sessa Marine FLY 45 aims to take that style and flair and make it attractive to new markets, like the Middle East and the Caribbean. To that end, the FLY 45 was designed with the agility and sportiness of an open boat combined with the versatility and comfort of a flybridge.

The FLY 45 combines

The FLY 45 combines open boat sportiness with flybridge versatility.

Technical specs include length overall of 14.3 meters/46 ft and beam of 4.4 meters /14.4ft, with 2 Volvo IPS 600s for power. There are two 636 liter / 160 US gallon fuel tanks.

The FLY 45 claims to be the first yacht on the market of this size with three comfortable cabins and two bathrooms with separate showers below deck. This is made possible by moving the galley up to the main deck. The two composite uprights that support the bridge deck also allow for a big “window over the sea” with a retractable sliding openwork shade, making it possible to dine outside without attracting unwanted attention. The flybridge can comfortable host 8 to 10 people. There is also a large sundeck on the bow.

The bridge instrument panel has a double display of 12” GPS/Chartplotter. The skipper’s seat adjusts fore and aft as well as up and down. The optional adjustable stern platform/tender lift houses a Williams 2.85/2.7m tender with outboard.

The FLY45 is a good looking yacht that should be attractive to a wide audience.
