Description
De Wulp
Unique sailing monument 'De Wulp'
The 15 m Lemsteraak with cabin 'De Wulp' is a very special aak in yacht execution. Built in 1912 by the renowned shipyard Gebr. De Boer and completely restored in 1989-1990 by Stofberg and Zn. The ship is very well equipped and technically completely up to date. De Wulp is a gem on the water, a feast for the eyes, and a fantastic sailor. The rich history of this sailing monument is recorded in the SSRP (link: https://www.ssrp.nl/stamboek/schepen/de-wulp-360).
With a length of 15.02 m and a width of 4.80 m, De Wulp offers a spacious interior with a standing height of no less than 210 cm. The ship provides six fixed sleeping places in three cabins, with 2 extra. The finish of the interior is of very high quality and in excellent condition. The salon has a nice layout with a spacious navigation corner, worthy of the designation 'office'. Plenty of daylight thanks to the five skylights. For a longer stay on board, all amenities are available, with hot and cold running water, gas cooking, refrigerator, heating, electric toilet (shower not available, space available). Complete with hi-fi, television, and satellite receiver.
Also outside, De Wulp is fantastically finished, with spacious decks made of teak. Spacious cockpit and more than enough seating around the steering position with cockpit table. Complete sail wardrobe from TD-Sails including a classic half-winder (cotton). Technically, this Lemsteraak is complete, with a Daf 6-cylinder engine of 105 hp, overhauled in '90. Mast equipped with lowering system.
De Wulp is a remarkable sight and considering the history, a unique opportunity for the lover of an original Lemsteraak in yacht execution. Contact us for a viewing.
