Description

The CSY Pilothouse Ketch was built in Tampa, Florida in 1978 and delivered to its first owners in 1979. The boat traveled along the Atlantic coast and subsequently went through the Panama Canal to its destination in Seattle, Washington. Her main use was to sail into Canada to a private island where she would be for the summer and return to Seattle for the winter. She was berthed at and maintained by John Dunato & Company. She underwent a substantial upgrade in 2000/2001, while she was briefly under new ownership. New rigging and sails were installed at that time. Windhover was purchased by the current owners in May 2002. She traveled in the summer through the Canadian islands till her transport in early September by DYT (Dockwise Yard Transport) to Fort Lauderdale. This has been her base till the start of our trip through the Caribbean.
Windhover has never been in charter and always privately owned. She is prepared to start another journey immediately. In other words, she is ready to go.

Windhover has her own website at www.CSY44Pilothouse.com for additional information.
