The beautiful lines of this Bristol 35.5 is one of the classic Ted Hood sloops that has lived up to her name for all of the 34 years her owner has sailed her. Estanche Deux is firm, watertight and dependable as the old French word “estanche" is defined. Her centerboard design allows passage in waters as shallow as 4’ and, when in full keel mode, 6’ plus waters. She has a windlass (2016), a furling 130 jib, a brand new (2019) full batten mainsail and new transmission (2018). Her dodger, bimini, mainsail cover and wheel cover affords protection from the sun and side curtains protect from the rain. She has a chart plotter, an Autohelm, and a hoist for an outboard motor. She comes complete with a VHF and stereo radio with cockpit speakers.
Her cabin is comfortable, sleeps 7, and has plenty if storage space. The galley has a 3 burner propane stove complete with oven. Her main salon table opens to accommodate several diners. The head is complete with a macerator for use in blue waters and an extended shower head that reaches to the deck. This is a sailboat that must be seen.
