Description
The Doughdish is an exact replica in fiberglass of the original N.G. Herreshoff 12-1/2 footer. This very popular boat is noted for its excellent sailing characteristics, speed, comfort, seaworthiness and safety. The Doughdish is a very handsome keel sloop in which the hull shape, usage of interior space, and the rig exemplify all the qualities of fine design. She moves through the water like a little ship, solid, easy going, and spacious for her size.
POPPY is in very good condition with newly AwlGripped Aristo Blue hull. It is Marconi rigged with main, jib, and spinnaker. It also has a full mooring cover. The boat could be converted to gaff very quickly. The toe rails could stand varnish as there are dings from sailing. POPPY has been stored at Pendleton Yacht Yard since new and is ready to sail.
