Description
Designed, specified and carefully equipped for blue-water adventures, L’Escale is the ultimate in comfort and practicality. Built also for beaching and exploring shallower water.
Seaworthiness and high performance are the qualities that make the Allures 45 a true blue-water cruising yacht. The rounded aluminium hull and powerful lines make it safe and fast. Elegant and comfortable, the accommodation is also functional and the high level of the equipment ensures an excellent quality of life on board in all conditions. L’Escale is equipped with an insulated hull and Webasto heater for comfort in colder waters, as well as mosquito nets and good ventilation for warmer climes. The cockpit is sheltered from the sun with a bimini and can be closed with a tent in cooler (and wetter) climates, both at anchor, with the full bimini enclosure, and using a sprayhood enclosure underway. Its teak table and long ergonomic benches encourage voyaging, relaxing and entertaining in equal measure.
Sailing continuously for months or even years, L’Escale is made for seafarers - the vast technical space on port and extensive storage throughout enables you to stow all the equipment needed for a limitless cruise, whilst the custom-built workbench supports total independence in remote locations. She comes with an extensive set of spares, at least two years’ worth of most parts.
The after cabin, and the extra berth on a frame, plus the possibility to convert the saloon seating to a full-size double bed, encourage you to invite family and friends for a pleasant cruise. The cockpit is comfortable and practical at sea, yet is a delightful space to spend time at anchor, enjoying the view and entertaining guests. The galley is effortlessly efficient.
The current owners have undertaken a comprehensive programme of enhancement and ongoing maintenance since new, with no expense spared. There is a complete service history. L’Escale was the Allures boat show yacht for 3 years.
L’Escale has enjoyed extended cruising throughout Europe since new, exploring the coasts and coves of the UK and Ireland, a frozen winter in Amsterdam (but cosy!), the canal system of the Netherlands, the Baltic and Scandinavia, France, Spain and Portugal along the Atlantic coast, the Mediterranean coasts and countless islands from West to East as far as Istanbul and back via the Adriatic and Venice, Morocco and then Canaries and Madeira, a total of around 25,000 sea miles. We very much hope new owners will continue the adventure and delight of sailing L’Escale further afield – it is what she is built for!
For sale by private treaty and ready now for new horizons and her next adventure.
