The Bavaria Nautitech 46 FLY is one of the most successful yachts in her market segment. Now she is available with a stately flybridge and is called the Bavaria Nautitech 46 FLY. You will be amazed by her speed, quality and commanding views from the flybridge helming station which can be fully enclosed by a variety of bimini dodger options.
The Nautitech 46 FLY catamaran was drafted by Marc Lombard, one of the most successful yacht designers in France. The elegant and functional design below deck comes from the pen of Stéphane Roséo and his team at Studio Roséo Design. The construction quality is top notch. The hull and decks are constructed of a vacuum-bagged, resin-infused fiberglass laminate, a proven modern technique popular among boatbuilders. The core is closed cell Divinycell (not the lesser wood balsa core other builders use) All Bavaria Yachts are certified by Germanischer Lloyd.
The Bavaria Nautitech 46 Fly catamaran uses the same hull, interior and cockpit configuration as the Bavaria 46 Open, but gives you another level of real estate up top. The flybridge seats 10 with ease on the upper deck, and has a vast amount more space there than any other cat in her class. The Bavaria 46 Fly is luxuriously appointed throughout, with beautiful light oak joinery, a hard-wearing walnut synthetic veneer cabin sole, and the signature “Open” concept cockpit, which combines with the saloon, to give a huge, single level living space.
The owner’s version has the entirety of the port side dedicated to a luxurious en-suite double cabin, with desk and full-length wardrobes, with room for a washing machine as well. The starboard side has 2 double cabins, 2 heads with showers, and a large separate shower cubicle. The four-double cabin version, mirrors the starboard side of the owner’s version on the port side. Single berths are options in the forepeaks.
The 46 Fly is available with either a full batten mainsail, or a roller-furling mainsail with battens. A self-tacking jib makes life simple, and you can add horsepower with a myriad of gennaker and spinnaker options flown off an optional bowsprit. With downwind sails set on continuous furlers, or top down furlers, setting downwind sails is as easy as rolling out your jib.
