Xquisite Yachts E-PLUS

Hull

• The hull is of sandwich composite construction using Quadriaxial stitched fabrics, Divinicell composite PVC foam and Epoxy Vinyl Ester resin. This gives a stiff laminate with excellent strength and lightweight properties.
• The engine beds are of GRP and bonded to the hull.
• Sea-cocks under water line are Marelon and located in accessible positions.
• Hose connections to inboard side of stainless steel sea-cocks have two stainless steel hose clamps.
• For osmosis protection an ISO / NPG Gelcoat is used
• Standard hull colour is light grey.
• Rudder are from Jefa and linked to Jefa transmission steering system with dual auto pilot
• Structural bulkheads are a combination of 80 density foam and Lloyds Marine ply wood hand laminated to hull and deck.
• Bulkhead thickness is 24mm for ply wood and 28mm for foam core
• Dedicated collision bulkheads at bow, at transom (to protect the engines) and at the bottom section of each keel
• 4 x RGBW Underwater LED lights
• Extended transoms with Swissway swimming ladder with handles
• Underwater epoxy- Antifouling application

Deck and Fittings

• The deck is of sandwich composite construction using Quadriaxial-stitched fabrics with 80 density foam of appropriate thickness as the core
• High density material under all deck fittings with stainless steel backing plates.
• Deck surface has a moulded diamond patterned non-slip finish.
• Standard Gelcoat colour is white.
• Electric under deck horizontal anchor windlass 24V/1500W with wired remote in foredeck anchor locker.
• Large anchor cleat mounted in anchor locker.
• Stainless steel anchor swivel with twin nylon anchor roller inside anchor locker with revised "anchor pod".
• Anchor - Ultra 45kg with Ultra Flip Swivel, 75m of 10mm chain, 100m 16mm warp
• Stainless steel shroud chain plates are bolted to hull in area of structural bulkheads.
• Two recessed water tank fillers fitted on coach roof so as to act as rain water collection points
• Two Diesel fillers fitted on aft top transom step

Engines

• Access to the engine rooms is via 2 specially moulded large hatches in the aft cockpit floor.
• These hatches are lockable and feature gas struts
• Two x Yanmar Marine diesel engines Model 4JH80-TE (80HP at 3200RPM) with SD60-T sail drive units, both freshwater cooled, Stbd side coupled via the heat exchanger to a 60L Calorifier for hot water.
• Intergrel 15kW electric drive/generator mounted to each engine
• Each engine is mounted on a specially moulded bed.
• Each engine is fitted with an additional 110A High Output Alternator for charging the House Batteries trough a Charge Regulator
• Complete passive ventilation system
• Wet exhaust system including water trap, gooseneck and anti-siphon.

Electrical

• All heavy current conductors carrying an excess of 50 Amps are 50-70mm².
• All light current conductors programmed and powered by C-Zone digital switching
• Batteries - the ship's auxiliary load consists of 8 x 6kW Li-Ion batteries.
• A separate battery is supplied for engine starting.
