Seebold Takes Laughlin Formula One Opener

LAUGHLIN, Nev. — Driving the No. 16 Bud Light Racing Team tunnel boat, Tim Seebold took first place at Laughlin River Day, the first stop on
the Laughlin Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour Presented by Bud Light. The win was Seebold's second consecutive victory at the Lauglin season opener.
Rough conditions persisted throughout the 40-lap Formula One final and caused two restarts. The first restart was on lap 6 after Greg Foster flipped his boat. The second restart occurred on lap 12 after Carlos Kuri barrel-rolled his boat.
After each restart, Terry Rinker took the lead held it for most of the race until falling back mechanical problems. Tim Seebold, who ran second most of the race, moved to first position and won his ninth career Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour race.
Todd Beckman finished second and Max Toler finished third. Rounding out the
top five was John Jensen and Alden Thornton.
The Laughlin River Days Formula One race will be televised on ESPN2 on
Sunday, July 1 at 7:30 PM (EDT).
