Flatter sections aft increase lift for speed and economy, and the deep full keel with a complete sand shoe gives stability and protection from grounding. In the cockpit, the Pilot 34 has double-wide helm and companion seats flanking the large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch. The side lounges can double as berths with the removable backrests. A tilt-up console means easy access to electronics and wiring, and there is a built-in insulated cooler box as well as a standard transom door. Below, the cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage, a shower, and even a VacuFlush head. The teak-trimmed galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, a dual cooktop, and a refrigerator and freezer. There is even a slide-out pantry for convenience. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth and includes plenty of storage. A color TV - VCR is standard and is easily viewed from the private forward stateroom, galley or dinette on its swivel system. Over $80K invested in recent remodel by an accredited marine surveyor over the last 5 years. This boat is an 'after' not a 'before', and this owner has the receipts to prove it! Vessel maintenance is top shelf! New Cummins QSB 6.7-SL380 Common Rail Electronic Diesel-2023. Compared to the standard Yanmar 370 HP improves performance from 14 knot cruise burning 19gph to 17 knots burning 17 gph, (smoother, quieter, far better speed and 25% increase in efficiency). This is on the original 34 pilot hull with the sand shoe protection running gear that the Rum Rinner II does not have. Electronics, Garmin GPSMAP 1242xsv, Simrad AP22 Auto Pilot, VHF Marine I-M422 VHF Radio, Fusion MS RA7ONSX Bluetooth Stereo System. Custom Enclosure provides phenomenal protection under the fiberglass hardtop with custom sail shade for aft cockpit. Custom cockpit sole cushion / runner in tasteful grass cloth linen finish. Generator, Next Gen 3KW removed from vessel, bench tested and serviced in 2023 and reinstalled. Providing ample and reliable AC power to all appliances, including reverse cycle heat and air conditioning, cooktop, microwave, hot water heater and more. New custom, larger 34-gallon holding tank installed to improve over standard 14-gallon tank. New electric head installed replaces the often-faulty vacu-flush system. All new sanitary hoses as well. New bilge pumps, sump tank and hot water heater installed during re-fit. Perfect couples Great Loop boat with bow thruster, super safe, high gunnel cockpit and safe side rails, transom door and swim platform. Vessel 'balance' is seldom discussed. With the large diesel, there is virtually no bow rise as the boat achieves planning speed. With her fine entry and low center of gravity, the Mainship 34 Pilot is a great 'sea boat' the 'actor' not the 'reactor' in almost any conditions Mother Nature may throw at you on a cruise.
