For sale is our family's well-cared-for, much-loved, water-ready 1958 Chris Craft Continental. It is an 18 foot model with a straight six KFL 131 hp engine and a new, no soak 5200 bottom. This boat is ready for you to turn the key and go. This boat has been owned by our family since new and enjoyed by five generations. Mechanically, it runs like a dream. It starts without fuss and idles very well. Professional tune-up performed in spring of 2023. Recent updates include a new water pump, rebuilt carbs, rebuilt fuel pump, and a new starter. The electrical system was completely rebuilt and upgraded in 2019. The hull is in very good condition. When the no-soak 5200 bottom was installed in 2021, all deteriorated structural wood was replaced and everything tightened up. The hull was completely stripped down and refinished in late 2017. The upholstery is older, but still in very good shape. There are two small punctures in the rear bench. The dash could use a refurbishment. The tachometer needs to be repaired or replaced.
