The 18.5 metre Contest 59CS with styling from judel/vrolijk & co continues the refreshing modernity running through the evolving Contest line. In order and principle, she follows the popular and much praised Contest 57CS but is longer with near plumb bow and extended, broader stern. Interior levels are raised for direct eyeline and outlook through the panoramic windows, which sit below a smart, newly styled superstructure. The super graceful contours of this go hand in hand with the pacy performance that the new judel/vrolijk modelling brings, including optimised foils and lowered centres of gravity and effort, for both efficiency and sea-kindliness. This all connects with the way of our larger yachts, and continues through to the interior with similar superyacht theme to the furnishings and advanced engineering systems. Intended for friends and family operation, sailing systems and deck management are easily handled, and the varied three and four cabin arrangements enable very personal choice, including workshop and a crew cabin if that is wished.

Ideal for sailing by two or for racing with crew, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the racecourse and indeed for cruising with family and friends. Her predecessor, the Arcona 340, successfully captured the hearts of many owners and was nominated in the category Performance Cruiser for the European Yacht of the Year 2010. We’ve taken inspiration from the design of the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year Performance Cruiser winner in 2019, and the evolution of the flagship Arcona 465 to make the Arcona 345 modern inside and out. The Arcona 345 has a slightly larger sail area than the Arcona 340 to give optimised upwind performance. There is the option to have twin wheels configured which can be upgraded to carbon. With a tiller as standard, she is very responsive. The layout provides a forward cabin with plenty of room and a good-sized clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath and over the berths. The side deck can be specified either in teak or in Arcona’s iconic non-slip material.
