Description
Reef Dr. 2 is a 34’ long Allmand (Down East) style fiberglass hull with a 275HP John Deere straight 6 diesel engine, 120 gallon fuel capacity, and a Hynautic steering system.
Max capacity for this vessel will vary depending on loadout, mission, and conditions but is capped at 12 persons. In general flat water will grant more leeway but under rougher conditions it is imperative to stay within or under recommendations listed in “Plan Loadout.”
This vessel has a medium draft of 36” and can handle sea conditions that exceed safe diving conditions.
She has had plenty of work redone to her, starting with a brand new ZF transmission, reworked wet elbow, engine mounts, prop shaft and seal, new electronics, raw water system for a removeable livewell tank. Engine runs well, starts up and always reliable, never been in any accident besides one grounding which required a new prop shaft, no damage to hull. For a workboat she has plenty of potential, was previously a charter fishing boat with mounted seats in the back. We still have these seats and they would come with the vessel.
Raw water intake for the engine has a slight leak but we do have the replacement pump ready and would come with the vessel. Slight leak from helm, needs a bushing changed to keep seal.
Vessel is currently in Freeport, Bahamas.
