Description

Thanks to the collaboration of the Baltic Yachts shipyard and the naval architects Judel/Vrolijk & CO, the Baltic 43 model is born, a lightweight, fast boat with timeless elegance.
The interiors incorporate the already well-known owner's cabin with a central double berth from Baltic Yacht.
Measuring 13.21 meters, it offers 6 sleeping places in three cabins and a wonderful saloon. Refined finishes, top-level equipment

The hull, built from fiberglass and alternating layers of mat and unidirectional Kevlar roving, has been kept wide at the stern to provide a spacious and comfortable cockpit.
The generous maximum beam and ample volume allow for plenty of space below deck.

DECK

The deck is made of CK 75 balsa sandwich, used for aeronautical constructions.

KEEL

The keel is made of lead and antimony casting, has a very low center of gravity with a slightly unconventional rounded design resulting from numerous tank tests, ensuring excellent performance.
The rudder is semi-elliptical with a blade, balanced, and filled with pve foam.

The deck equipment is of superior quality and is complete for both cruising and racing use.
The anodized aluminum mast has three sets of spreaders with single-strand stainless steel rigging.
Nine self-tailing winches from Lewmar, a Navtec hydraulic unit for the vang and backstay, a hydraulic headsail furler from Rekmann, and a hydraulic halyard furler integrated into the Rekmann mast serve the crew.

- two Lewmar 65 ST three-speed winches
- two Lewmar 52 ST two-speed winches
- four Lewmar 43 ST two-speed winches
- one Lewmar 40 ST two-speed winch

One of the strengths of the shipyard is undoubtedly the accuracy of the finishes.
The woods used are of the best possible quality and treated with exceptional craftsmanship.
The internal compartmentalization is rational and marine. The spaces are well-ventilated and sufficiently bright considering the classic style of the vessel.
Every detail and nuance of this vessel is crafted with skill and care while maintaining their intrinsic functionality.

LIVING AREA

The spacious conversation area consists of a large sofa and a manually foldable solid teak table.
Traditional striped teak wood flooring with maple inlays.
Side cabinets and a bookshelf complete the space.

CHART AREA

Opposite the sofa, in the spirit of the boat's classicism, the chart area is spacious and functional.
Custom electrical panel, repeaters for electronic instrumentation, and a convenient space for storing nautical charts and charting equipment.

GALLEY AREA

This area, despite its size, remains functional and rich. A cockpit fridge, a tilting stainless steel cooktop with three burners and an oven, and a double-basin stainless steel sink with a hot/cold mixer tap complete the area.

OWNER'S CABIN

The owner's cabin at the stern is equipped with an independent bathroom with a shower and consists of a very spacious central bed, storage shelves, and two opposing wardrobes.

FORWARD CABINS

The sleeping area of the vessel is completed with two forward cabins, one of which has drop-down beds. The two cabins are served by a complete bathroom with a shower.

Magellan Nav 1200 GPS

The rigging is a sloop with a classic geometry.
This rigging is the best configuration for a fast racing and cruising yacht of this size and makes the fore triangle more manageable, allowing the crew to maneuver the boat with just the mainsail.

Descriptions provided by the construction site

The Baltic 43 is a sloop-rigged IOR-IMS racer - cruiser. The hull is balsa core fiberglass sandwich construction to the highest specification using fiberglass mat, unidirectional roving and mat-roving combination to develop an extremely rigid yet light and well-insulated structure. Unidirectional roving is a special developed E-glass - aramid (Kevlar) hybrid to improve impact resistance, strength and safety of the construction. High-grade resin is used in the lamination process to create an extremely strong high-tech laminate. Taking advantage of modern lightweight construction techniques and fiber technology enables a higher ballast-displacement ratio, which gives better performance and seaworthiness. The new, rounded keel shape is based on extensive tank testing and practical tests on one-off racing yachts. Keel performance is optimized. The new keel shape has a higher lift-drag ratio than a conventional fin type keel, and a lower centre of gravity, increasing stability without adding ballast weight. Shorter cord lengths at top and tip improve laminar flow and lower drag. The mast is a three-spreader racing-cruising type. Spar is made from aluminum alloy as a hollow, oval section and provided with aluminum airfoil spreaders. Available in two interior configurations. Joinery work is to the highest standard. All joinery is teak-faced, with solid teak or laminated teak frames and cappings. The joinery is varnished throughout. Visible surfaces are varnished and hand-rubbed to obtain a satin type surface.
