Description

The Boréal 47.2 is a rugged and dependable 4 wheel-drive bluewater cruising yacht which offers the ability to cruise worldwide in safety and security. This yacht was built in 2023 and commissioned the following year. She is owned by a very experienced yacht owner who had her extremely highly specified. His plans have now changed so NARVAL is now being offered for sale in sparkling condition and ready to sail. RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” 

 

Hull Construction:

  • Triple chines on frames and floating stringers.
  • 5083 and 5086 H111 aluminium.
  • Mig and Tig welding in Argon controlled by sweating.
  • 100 x 10 Ribs, 12 x 40 stringers, floor-plate thickness 8mm.
  • Watertight collision bulkhead 1.85m behind the bow.
  • Watertight bulkhead at the rear, before rudder post and dagger boards.
  • Flat keel 120 x 10, enhanced to 300 x 30 at the forefoot.
  • Chain plates and reinforcements under chain plates integrated into structure.
