Summary of work carried out on Cantieri Di Pisa model Atlas
Deck;
Dismantling of deck hardware necessary for processing and reassembly after polishing and reassembly of the new stainless steel pulpit replacing the aluminum one.
Milling of 6 mm on all deck comments and new re-caulking with Sika 290 and first sanding, improvement of the fastening of the slats with self-tapping screws 3.5×25 on beams and closed with teak plugs.
Complete stripping of the external superstructure and sliding doors with the insertion of a new lock with external key closure, transom with a cycle with white epoxy-polyurethane and replacement of the lock with a key, modification according to the request of the bow sunbathing area, partial resin coating of the edges and laying of new teak on the modified part.
New white lacquered wooden cabinet at the bow of the modified area with drip tray and water drain and “L” shaped bow sofa with inspection hatches.
Maintenance of the pulpit and the bulwark, external bow wall in solid teak and solid wood with glossy painting. Replacement of the window seals and fastening screws replaced with blind bolts instead of self-tapping screws.
Restoration of the Fly floor by replacing various rotten floor points then isolated with epoxy cycle and white non-slip. Replacement with new of the access hatch with pistons for opening. Restoration of the dome with epoxy resin, furniture, side walls and dashboard and hatch with new furniture under the dashboard.
New closing cabinet under the dashboard with inspections, hatch and sealed, Reassembly of the plexiglass windshield after polishing with replacement of the screws.
Maintenance of the roll-bar painting with white epoxy-polyurethane cycle of the fly under-roof.
Realization of 2 cabinets in glossy uv lacquered teak veneer and white lacquered on the upper part mounted at the stern. Maintenance of the engine room hatch by installing a new drip tray made of steel, as on the bow anchor locker, installation of pistons for opening.
Maintenance of the painting of the internal perimeter side walls with replacement of various damaged sections, especially in the stern area.
In the anchor locker replacement of the transverse reinforcement wood at the bow of the winch, resin reinforcement and epoxy protection on the iron tank and maintenance of the wood and steel frame.
On the hull sides restoration of the wood with new mahogany panels in the live area, also at the stern and followed by double-layer bi-axial resin coating 450 gr/mq in epoxy, epoxy primer and glossy painting.
Sealing with neutral silicone for the exterior of the various joints on the entire surface and Sika 290 rubber cord in the elbow between the internal fender and the bulwark on the entire surface.
Hull;
Hull bottom treated with epoxy impregnating before the application of antifouling and restoration of a portion of the shaft exit for about 1.3 sqm and reinforced internally.
Restoration of the submerged part of the sides for a height of 600×14000 mm with certified Rina mahogany marine plywood 10+8 mm interlocking and glued with epoxy resin, the same procedure for the transom for 850 mm in height with 8+6 mm thickness with the same procedure as the sides.
Replacement of a portion on the right side at the bow of 400×400 mm and on the right and left sides corresponding to the water discharge openings.
Dismantling and reassembly of the porthole with restoration of the seals and sealing and hardware after polishing.
Sandblasting of the flaps and bottom painting with epoxy.
Interiors;
Internally in the salon area, removal of the partition and kitchen, structural reinforcements on the ceiling with beams and stringers, new wooden ceilings and total white and dove gray lacquer. Creation of new furniture and installation of supplied appliances and ceilings and dashboard covering.
Maintenance of the sofa in the salon.
Anti-mold treatment on the upper part of the ceiling.
Installation of new plank flooring in the kitchen area, thresholds of the side doors in raw rubberized teak for non-slip.
In the corridor and in the cabins total white and dove gray lacquering, new ceilings over the entire surface.
In the bathrooms maintenance of the floor painting, new sink and side cabinet in teak finish and white lacquer. New coverings on the bulkheads complete and new arrangement of light points.
New risers on the stairs with holes for led step markers that will then be covered in fabric.
Restoration of the support frame of the floorboards in some damaged points.
Epoxy treatment on the internal floorboards as on the entire bilge accessible from bow to stern.
Engine room;
In the engine room restoration of the lateral structure of the extractors and treated in epoxy like all the bilges and sides after sanding where possible, wooden bases of the diesel tanks replaced with new ones before their replacement.
Removal of the old insulation.
Removal of the old engine air intakes.
