Comar Comet 460

Flagship of Comar designed by Finot, this Comet 460 from 1987 with only 2 owners is a boat that made the history of Italian boating in the nineties in competition with Grand Soleil.

Interior description: classic layout with two double cabins at the stern with bathroom, at the bow a V-shaped owner's cabin with dedicated bathroom and separate shower cabin, dinette divided between chart table with seating and L-shaped kitchen with double sink, in the second part towards the bow a large C-shaped sofa opposite a sofa with double seating and a cabinet with comfort services.

Exterior description: teak beach with a two-part ladder for swimming on the transom, comfortable cockpit with teak finishes, bimini and canopy with solar panels, at the bow a large sail locker, numerous portholes with blinds. The sailing qualities of this model are famous, very fast with light winds and easily manageable thanks to the complete hydraulic system that assists all maneuvers with two primary winches, furling system, base tensioner, and manual jib furler, another 5 self-tail winches for other maneuvers and manual staysail furler. The construction of Comar in these years was at the level of prestigious European shipyards, this specimen is ready to moor, the second owner since 1992 has always maintained the boat in every aspect and improved the sail plan to cutter, with code zero and gennaker mounted on a retractable bowsprit. Maneuverability is also enhanced by the engine thanks to the anchor being distant from the helm. The large water and diesel tanks and the 4 solar panels make it optimal for long and comfortable cruises with excellent sailing performance and usability even with a reduced crew thanks to the fractional sail plan and hydraulic assistance for all primary maneuvers.
