1990 Hatteras 58 Convertible Overview
The 58 was at the top of her class when she was introduced in 1990 with a large 175 square-foot fishing cockpit combining classic styling and quality construction always associated with the Hatteras brand. The cockpit is set up for tournament-level fishing and includes an oversized transom door, live baitwell, molded tackle centers, engine room access, and a waist-level fish box built into the transom. Heavily built on a low-deadrise hull, GM 1,350hp 16V92 diesels cruise at 26–27 knots (30 knots top).
Accommodations
Sleeps 6 people in 3 staterooms. Beginning forward is the master stateroom/VIP suite with a walk around queen berth, plenty of drawer and hanging storage, private head with separate stall shower. Next aft and to port is the guest stateroom with over/under berths, drawer and hanging storage, and a private head with separate stall shower. Directly to starboard is the second VIP/master stateroom with twin beds plenty of drawer and hanging storage, a private head with separate stall shower.
Aft and up 5 steps is the salon with the galley to starboard and an L-shaped dinette to port. The entertainment center is to port along with the electrical switching panel. There is a large L-shaped sofa with storage beneath to starboard with a cocktail table.
