Moonen 68 flybridge

This Moonen 68 'Rio Grande' was built for a very experienced owner from the commercial shipping industry. During construction, at the request of the owner, the ship was made more silent after an acoustic study by Van Cappellen, which made the ship extra well insulated and noise-reduced. The current and 3rd owner of the Rio Grande had a flybridge applied in 2021, creating a beautiful extra seating area and an extra steering position on top of the boat with all basic functions. The flybridge was designed and built by renowned Dutch shipbuilding companies. On board are at least 20 Moonen folders of the construction of the boat, there are also 2 new folders in which the refit and construction of the Flybridge are well documented. All drawings and calculations are included. The following work was carried out during the 2021 refit: Entire ship reupholstered, mattresses renewed, extra child's bed created in SB forecabin, lighting completely replaced by LED lighting, interior blinds installed, AIS Class A & Navigation equipment replaced with PC Navigo, engine controls and actuators replaced (Aventics / Bosch / Rexroth), completely new flybridge applied with benches and windshield, second steering position installed on flybridge, extra tender supports installed at the rear for Williams Sport 395 (not included), new kitchen installed in wheelhouse with refrigerator / hob / sink / cupboard space, kitchen / dinette refitted below deck, new tent around cockpit, new sails and outdoor sun blinds, teak decks repaired / cleaned / sanded where necessary, exterior woodwork repainted, stabilizers system overhauled, propeller shafts and screws balanced, all pumps fitted with new rubbers, hydrophore and pump renewed, water tank cleaned. This Moonen 68 is equipped with: Camera system with view of the engine room / bathing platform / aft / side decks SB + BB, trolling function on the engine control which reduces the idle speed and provides additional power to the hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, cellar in the foreship for storage, spare parts on board for the most vital parts of the technology, only 3 main valves in the entire hull which can be opened and closed centrally in the wheelhouse, 4 x passage in side railing, high-gloss lacquered railing all around, stainless steel fender holders around deck, anchor locker and storage in fore ship recently painted, hydraulic capstans on fore and aft deck, 2 x electrically adjustable helm seats, blinds in wheelhouse and saloon, central vacuum system, 2 x heating units in ceiling on aft deck, WiFi router for internet on board, Miele washing machine, Miele dryer, waste press, Miele dishwasher in galley, hydraulically folding mast, clearance height with mast at approx. 7.80m and with folded mast approx. 6.13m.
