Time Shaver is an X-Yachts custom IMX40 that is fast as well as having a nice interior for occasional cruising. She has recently been optimized by yacht designer Fred Courable. Some of her new additions are: New custom race keel with kelp cutter. New custom rudder. Newer fixed carbon fiber bowsprit for asymmetrical spinnakers. Quantum and Ullman Sails. Newer B&G Hercules 5000 system with Garmin 20/20 mast displays. New hatches and windows. New stove. This racing yacht is turn-key ready to win races in comfort. She also has triple spreader carbon fiber mast and boom.
Time Shaver won her class in the 2025 Santa Barbara King Harbor Race! Other results include:
- 1st in class and overall in Long Point Race Week
- 1st in class in the Santa Barbara King Harbor Race 2024 (against a stock IMX40, three J122's. A Farr 57. Beneteau 44.7 and a Grand Soleil 44 Race)
- 1st in the 2024 Dana Point Championships
- 1st in class 2024 Long Point Race Week
- 1st in class 2025 Santa Barbara / King Harbor Race (against 3 J122's and several other very competitive boats)
