Hull and construction
Hull and Construction
• Sandwich construction using resin infusion process with multiaxial and unidirectional fabrics with E-glass fibers
and varying density PVC foam. The patented resin infusion process known as "SCRIMP" ensures an
optimal fiber content (60% and more).
• High-quality ISO NPG gelcoat with vinylester resin provides optimal protection against osmosis.
• Hull with white gelcoat and waterline in blue gelcoat.
• Internal ribbing ("Strongback") made of longitudinal and transverse reinforcements (floor frames and stringers) introduced in the infusion process
- pipelines and cable conduits formed within it - resulting in better weight compliance.
• Main bulkhead made of composite material connected to the hull in the infusion process - resulting in improved
boat strength.
• All intermediate bulkheads are laminated for the stiffening of hull and deck.
• Anchor box and collision bulkhead in the bow.
• 5-year warranty on hull integrity and against osmosis blisters.
Deck
Deck
• Laminated sandwich using the SCRIMP process with multiaxial E-glass fibers and PVC foam of varying densities.
• Off-white gelcoat, non-slip surfaces available in another color upon request (two-tone deck).
• All horizontal surfaces are either laminated with an extremely non-slip surface or covered with Flexiteek
(synthetic teak deck with black seams).
• Molded foot railing along the entire length of the hull for safety on deck.
• Flat cabin roof with flush-mounted areas to facilitate the routing of the lines to the stern,
improve walkability, and integrate the sprayhood well.
• Instrument console on the hatch garage.
• Storage spaces:
Large anchor locker.
Dedicated storage for a liferaft on the port side.
Stern locker on the starboard side.
Storage for two gas bottles.
A storage compartment under the cockpit floor (aft of the steering wheels).

Keel and Rudder
• The keel (2.20 m draft) with a low center of gravity consists of a cast iron fin with a lead bulb –
providing maximum stability and best sailing performance.
• The keel is shaped on the top to fit the hull precisely according to a template, then glued to it and
bolted with oversized stainless steel bolts and large washers.
• Deep-draft balance rudder made of composite material with unidirectional and multiaxial fiberglass on a
high-strength stainless steel rudder shaft, which moves easily in low-friction, self-aligning rudder bearings.
• Two steering columns, each with an 80-cm steering wheel made of stainless steel with leather covering – thus ergonomically
optimal steering.
• Molded footrest for the person at the rudder.
• Efficient rudder transmission with rope and quadrant ensures precise steering with two fingers.
