For sale is a well-maintained Jeanneau Merry Fisher 8 built in 2012, first launched in 2014. This Merry Fisher still has the robust and durable Nanni Diesel inboard engine with 200 HP.
The boat has only been used in freshwater, has been regularly and carefully maintained, and is in very good condition.

Engine, consumption & range:
The Nanni Diesel with 200 HP is a durable, economical engine that consumes about 4 L/h at a speed of approximately 9 km/h. Even at cruising speed of about 20 knots, the consumption is around 20 liters/hour, allowing a range of about 300 nautical miles or 15 hours – a good value for a boat of this size.
Why diesel inboard engine instead of gasoline outboard?
- Fuel efficiency: More economical in consumption
- Durability: Longer-lasting, achieves higher mileage
- Maintenance & safety: Requires winterization, but is easily accessible and more theft-proof
- Rarity: The Merry Fisher, Antares, or Quicksilver Weekend are unfortunately no longer offered with diesel inboards, which only serves the shipyards because they are faster and easier to build. For boaters who are often on the move and where value retention is a priority, diesel makes sense.
- Range: Allows for longer trips without frequent refueling, which is particularly practical in our inland waters and along the Baltic Sea coast.
