The Jeanneau Prestige 46 is a distinctly French-style cruiser, elegant and not overloaded. The lines of the hull and the cabin windows - on two levels - are distinctly Jeanneau. Entering through the stainless steel framed aft door, we delve into the European design by Garroni and Musio Sale: a smart use of mahogany wood, cream leather, and stainless steel to create a modern, elegant, and timeless atmosphere. Salon with folding table and bench. Entertainment center at the back of the stairs leading to the upper deck on the port side. Teak and holly flooring, kitchen slightly lowered but integrated into the main cabin. It is a unique design with two stainless steel handrails on each side of the entrance and a glass cover for serving, equipped with a cooking plate and a small extractor hood to eliminate food odors, as well as a microwave and deep drawers for plates and glasses, integrated refrigerator door matching the surrounding cabinets and the storage cabinet baskets on the floor. The lower helm is slightly elevated but remains part of the cabin. There is a seat for two people and a complete set of instruments mounted on a large wooden console, with a smaller one at the front. Also incorporated into the console is a glove compartment, with a methacrylate cover and a solid stainless steel rail. In front of the helm is a small dining area at the same height as the driver's seat. The table is placed on a stainless steel structure and has a couple of handles that are useful when climbing to the seats. The yacht has three cabins with double berths (four if counting the crew cabin at the stern with sink, WC, and bed) and two full bathrooms with showers with circular screens. On the flybridge, the entertainment area is large. A large sunbed lifts to form a second seat around the circular table. There is also space for the pilot and a friend at the upper helm.

The price of the Jeanneau Prestige 46, with two 490 HP Cummins diesel engines, started in 2005 at $981,617 (+VAT) and included a bow thruster, cushions for the sunbathing area on the bow deck, exterior curtains for the windows, and removable carpets in the salon and the stairs. Additional extras for its complete configuration had to be added to this.
