DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS

INTERIOR LAYOUT: 

Beginning forward is a large Vee-berth with private head, next aft is the full galley to port, face to face dinette, aft and up three steps is the massive salon, further aft and down three steps and to starboard is the washer and dryer, to port is the VIP stateroom with private head, aft is the full beam master stateroom with a private head. Access to the pilot house and aft deck is from the starboard aft salon.

BOW STATEROOM: 

Port and starboard twin berths, large storage locker forward, drawer and cabinet storage beneath the port berth and shelves above both berths and the private head with separate shower is aft and to port. Mahoganey cabinetry with wicker panel inserts.

GALLEY: 

The full galley is down and to starboard with Cospolich stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, double round basin stainless steel sinks, full sized GE Profile 4 burner cooktop and under counter oven, GE Profile microwave/convection oven, Black and Decker coffee maker, Blue Pearl granite counter top, Mahogany and burl face to face dinette table to starboard, teak and holly plank flooring, Mahogany cabinetry with Maple raised panel doors, mahogany batten walls.

SALON: 

The large salon is aft, up three steps and open from the galley and features a built in L-shaped curved sofa to port and aft, along the starboard side are mahogany cabinets with Blue Pearl granite counter tops. The entertainment center is forward with a 55” Samsung flat panel TV, five Crown XLS 1002 2-channel stereo amplifiers, Onkyo stereo receiver, KVH TracVision satellite receiver and two direct TV boxes. The décor is Roman shades on windows, blue carpet, beige headliner with mahogany battens, drop panel lighting features, teak hi/lo table, beige cushions with blue welting.

LAUNDRY CENTER: 

The laundry is aft and down threes steps from the salon and is to starboard with a side-by-side Bosch Axxis washer and dryer, linen storage.

VIP STATEROOM: 

The VIP is to port and has a full-sized berth outboard with a built-in dressing table and mirror and closet aft. The private head is forward with a Dometic BB2000 bidet/commode, and a separate stall shower, mahogany and maple cabinetry, dark blue carpet with inlaid white stars.

MASTER STATEROOM: The full beam master stateroom features a walk around queen sized bed from the port bulkhead, a large hanging closet, drawer storage and a private head with separate stall shower, Dometic BB2000 bidet commode. The décor is maple paneling with mahogany trim, dark blue carpet with inlaid white stars, mirrored aft bulkhead.

ELECTRONICS: Two Garmin GPSmap XS, Danforth Constellation 8” compass, Raymarine E120 radar, Furuno fish finder, Horizon Spectrum VHF, Icom ICM 506 VHF, 55” Samsung flat panel TV MSR, 55’ Samsung flat panel TV salon, five Crown XLS 1002 350-watt 2 channel stereo amplifiers, KVH TracVision TV controller, two Direct TV receivers, 50” flat panel TV aft deck,

PILOT HOUSE: Full helm station with overhead electronics console, Recaro hi back helm seat with teak and stainless flip down foot rest and hydraulic hi/lo pedestal, pilots’ berth, stainless ships wheel, large windows for great visibility, teak and holly overhead with teak handrail, maple cabinetry, breaker panels, full instrumentation and monitoring, swing door to aft deck.

COMMENTS: In the mid 1990’s Southern Star was purchased by the previous owner who did a complete work over and customization, including all systems, engines rebuilt, generators replaced, interior stripped and completely custom rebuilt using mahogany, maple and burl woods and gloss finish to create a special interior. The layout of Southern Star allows for entertainment with the oversized salon, spacious air-conditioned aft deck, wide walk around side decks to the inviting front deck and the easily accessed cockpit for fishing or water activities.
