The DALE 28 was conceived to meet the needs of both new as well as long standing DALE clients who wanted to downsize whilst retaining the sea keeping and quality to which they were accustomed. A large socialising space in the wheelhouse and cockpit area as well as a cabin for two plus occasional berths for a further two were top of their list. Putting everything that is special about a DALE into 28 feet was a challenge that we just couldn’t resist. After achieving the hull design to give the sea-keeping and ease of handling expected of a DALE, our next aim was to use the architecture to create a boat with spacious accommodation for two, the comfort of full standing headroom, a large wheelhouse and cockpit for total enjoyment of cruising, living on board and socialising. We build each boat bespoke for you and just like any other DALE, there is a sense of discreet luxury and attention to detail. Bonded flush wheelhouse side and front windows with their style taken from our new Dale 40 gives a sleek and more modern finish to complement the classic style and twin engines with joystick manoeuvring deliver a top speed of 29 knots plus. We can’t wait to test her on the water, especially considering the similarity in hull shape to the DALE 23 but with softer sections.
