The 50ft centre-cockpit sector has always been the pumping heart of Contest Yachts. Each model over the years the most popular, for the ever-improving balance of sailing ease, performance and onboard comforts. Two big suites and with a third-cabin option, yet still a yacht that can be sailed single-handed. A yacht for all occasions, crossing oceans or leisurely lunching in an idyllic bay. And this most recent 50ft-design from judel/vrolijk opens even more opportunity.True to say, the new Contest 50CS resets the yard’s own gold standard at this length. The advanced hull-form achieving so well the three most key modern targets. These are: performance up and down wind, stability for low angles of heel, and huge accommodation. And all accomplished with the inherent sea safety and comfort expected of a Contest. In the newly enabled and scaled deck and cabin plans, this brings also so much more of our larger yacht thinking. Superyacht qualities at 50ft. Also, good sustainable credentials with the option of integrated photovoltaic panels and a range of alternative synthetic teak-style decking.
An emblem of Modern Luxury, the new Ferretti Yachts 580 has ideal features for an intimate and comfortable experience of the sea in perfect Ferretti Yachts style.
Breathtakingly beautiful, astonishingly comfortable, and personalisable inside with two alternative interior-design moods, the Ferretti Yachts 500 ushers in a new era for the brand. The brand new yacht combines nautical adventure with the domestic dimension in spaces and solutions of a comfort you’d normally expect only on rather larger craft. The overall effect is a family ambience that immerses guests in a sensation of total wellbeing. Rediscovering the pleasure of leisure, by yourselves or with your nearest and dearest, means living your yacht like the exclusive, authentic multi-sensory habitat she is.
At 26 metres, the Contest 85CS with Lloyd’s Register certified hull, and accommodation for up to ten with the option of expansive dedicated crew quarters, is a yacht set to take the world in its stride. Very capably, very comfortably, very securely. Yachting World magazine succinctly sums this as, “The detailed thought and practical experience that has gone into the conception, design and construction is on a scale that one rarely has the privilege to witness.”Designed for fast passage with powerful, practical, deep-ocean cruising capability, the Contest 85CS is easily sailed, managed and maintained by short-handed crew, and perfectly set both to sail the globe and enjoy sailing’s high society. Indicative of the extraordinary levels of customisation, there are eight principal plans for the accommodation. Multiple versions of deck detailing. Rigs at this superyacht threshold are likely all carbon but choice remains, including reefing method, sail plan and sail type. And, as said, that’s just the beginning. Where to end is the owner’s prerogative.
Bold and defiant, the Pershing 6X embodies the Pershing predatory spirit, with her taut, agile forms and cutting-edge tech. A blast of power with a 48-knot top speed, she’s primed to run rings around the rest and poke fun at convention.
The strikingly good-looking Contest 55CS is a game-changing 55ft beauty. Refined elegance with go anywhere, anytime potential. A true home from home, wherever, however. This European Yacht of the Year award-winning, 17-metre Contest 55CS combines in full our long-standing reputation as top-of-the-line bluewater performance builder, matching with today's increasingly more time-limited lifestyle.Across the yachting community, ever more emphasis is being placed on interior accommodation space and styling. At Contest we achieve this without compromise to performance, safety and sea sense. And we have additionally gone to new lengths to show just how aesthetics and practicality really can make perfect partners. Also, how for different types of ownership, a yacht can equally circle the world with still the very best of comfort and space enjoyed by those lazing at anchor or plugged into marina life. This way the Contest 55CS provides for ever more enjoyable time aboard. A safe, comfortable, speedy and easily run yacht with space and systems both above and below decks to enjoy life on the water to the full. And that's all waters, local, global, calm and stormy!
With her beautiful lines, modern hull shape, open transom, more accessible stowage and increased interior light, she continues in the tradition of the Arcona 410 as a quality performance cruiser with superb attention to detail. The impressive pace, comfort, great lines and ability to sail with ease even in difficult weather conditions will continue in the Arcona 415. Experience the feel and responsiveness of the boat to the helm. With the sheets and control lines all to hand in the cockpit, she is easy to sail shorthanded. The Arcona 415 has twin wheels, first introduced to the Arcona fleet on the Arcona 410, which make it possible to sit well to windward with a clear view of the sails whilst the spacious cockpit has room for the whole crew when in harbour. The Arcona 415 is equipped with a Yanmar 3JH40C x SD60-5-223S as standard and can be upgraded to a diesel 4JH45C x SD60-5-223S. The Arcona 415 can also be upgraded to an Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW electric propulsion system, with variable pitch propeller technology and comes with a 23.2kWh* battery pack. A 15kW electric motor is the equivalent of a 50hp diesel engine on our 40-43ft yachts.
Big, beautiful and so easily self-managed, the new 19-metre Contest 63CS is the absolute must-have 60+footer. Designed for hassle-free, high performance in the lightest to heaviest weathers, the graceful, well-set, balanced lines are from top naval architects judel/vrolijk & co. Interior styling is by superyacht stars Wetzels Brown, who introduce two identical, half-beam, VIP double guest suites forward of the saloon. Rare at this size, these are even retained when opting for a four- in place of three-cabin configuration.
The first of the “Generation X” creations. A bold coupé whose mark – a code used in the aeronautical world to refer to extreme performance and technological evolution – alludes to the unquenchable thirst to set sail for new horizons at great speed. Pershing 5X is the first page of a fabulous new chapter in the history of Pershing.
The ultimate expression of the Pershing thrill. The Pershing 140 is not only Pershing’s first all-aluminum superyacht. It is also the first yacht with a raised helm station directly connected to the sun deck. It is the first to set the area dedicated to the owner on the main deck and is also the first to have a beach area that can open fully on three sides.
From a 35-metre yacht that breaks down every barrier. With her sporty nature and extreme liveability, her elegant styling and razor-sharp focus on making life pleasurable, Pershing GTX116 elevates the seagoing experience to a new dimension.
This fantastic vessel makes a captivating impression with her outstanding use of space. The fabulously luminous interiors and modular external areas hold particular appeal. Her latest-generation technology fashions a matchless cruising experience amid some truly iconic design. This is a yacht that makes room for beauty.Launched in 2018, the Ferretti Yachts 670 is our gift to the yachting world, and to ourselves, to celebrate our 50th anniversary year in sumptuous style. She is the fruit of the partnership between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering department – the first Ferretti yacht with exterior design created with architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are by our own in-house architects and designers. The standout feature among her is the optimal use of space, inside and out, assuring a perfect blend of conviviality and privacy for the owner and guests. The Ferretti Yachts 670 is actually a 67-footer (measuring 20.24 m), albeit with amenities typical of rather larger craft. This design philosophy emerges clearly in the layout: the standard version vaunts 3 generous cabins on the lower deck, and the imaginatively arranged master cabin has an antechamber that acts as a roomy study with writing desk, now an iconic element of this yacht.
In the Contest 49CS, our first twin aft-cabin yacht at this length, we have developed something new, different and yet reassuringly consistent with Contest credentials. A natural step up from the Contest 42CS, and equal new step into the Contest range for sailors preferring their master suite forward and family or guest cabins in the back. And what cabins these are, they’re huge for the 50ft (15.5m) sector. Yet still there’s a very impressive tender garage, spacious aft deck, and loads of storage throughout the cabins which enjoy the latest design-styling from the Wetzels Brown studio. It’s with naval architects judel/vrolijk & co’s balancing of modern topside height and max beam carried well aft, that this conventionally impossible scale of twin aft cabin arrangement with standing headroom throughout has been achieved. And with super performance, too, through the full spectrum of heavy and light weather. Dependable in handling and easy to control, sailing nine knots to windward at 30° apparent. And as with all Contest yachts, remarkably quiet below decks under sail and motor.
“A sensational new 67ft semi-custom model,” said Yachting World of this 21-metre judel/vrolijk & co design, adding, “Contest’s practical, methodical approach is of superyacht standard and ensures owners have the ability to fault-find and maintain the boat easily. In terms of quality, the 67CS is perhaps the most impressive new yacht under 80ft in production today.”We agree. The Contest 67CS is both a delightful design and a delight to sail and live aboard. The first of our judel/vrolijk collaborations, the famed Contest descriptor of ‘all-weather’ sailing now extended further. Into light-wind performance. For Mediterranean-style sailing as well more classic bluewater voyaging. And a new structural approach bringing reduced displacement, increased stiffness and opened interior volume for greater accommodation. All big wins. And with a choice of carbon or aluminium rig, the yacht can be tuned specifically to intended purpose. As can the interior with optional arrangements from master cabin forward or aft and for three to five sleeping cabins for family and friends. There’s the option, too, of a crew cabin, either forward or midships, meaning charter can also be added into the mix.
A remarkable yacht, the Contest 72 was first conceived for a superyacht-experienced owner seeking the same technical and luxury standards in a smaller, 22-metre, family orientated yacht. A remarkable yacht with outstanding engineering and specification for length and interior volume. A truly exceptional four-cabin 70-footer.To future owners this brings virtual custom build at fractional cost. The nature of wide-ranging options spanning almost every element of this extreme semi-custom build. Bulkhead positioning almost the only constraint. A defining, high priority of the superyacht is silent running. Banishing noise and vibration. In the Contest 72CS, everything imaginable both above and below deck has been engineered to this end. Specialist acoustic engineers focusing not only on installations within the hull, but on deck and above to sailing hardware. Reducing transfer and transmissions to astonishing effect.Deliveries to date span full carbon rig with Park Lane boom and 3Di moulded sails, to alloy spars and vertically battened Vectra with in-mast furling. Below-decks arrangements vary from full-on inclusivity with open galley to complete owner privacy with forward crew quarters and enclosed galley.
The Arcona 435 illustrates the evolution of design and innovation for Arcona Yachts. She is a boat that will win regattas one weekend and then take the family for a comfortable and safe sail the next. The Arcona 435 continues to uphold Arcona’s strong heritage of innovation and design excellence, using high quality materials and best workmanship. The Arcona 435 is a fast, modern and easy-to-manage 43 foot performance cruiser. Launched by Arcona Yachts in 2018 and winner of the European Yacht of the Year 2019, she quickly became a favourite in the performance racer-cruiser sector. The Arcona 435 epitomises the characteristics of a very comfortable fast family cruiser and a racing yacht, without making any compromises. She is both safe and stable with laminated bulkheads and Arcona’s galvanised steel girder. She is a joy to sail as she responds quickly to trim input and doesn’t weigh more than 8900kg. The Arcona 435 can also be specified with carbon hull, deck and spars which reduces her weight further. Arcona 435 has a slightly larger sail area than previous models to give optimised upwind performance.
Ideal for sailing by two or for racing with crew, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the racecourse and indeed for cruising with family and friends. Her predecessor, the Arcona 340, successfully captured the hearts of many owners and was nominated in the category Performance Cruiser for the European Yacht of the Year 2010. We’ve taken inspiration from the design of the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year Performance Cruiser winner in 2019, and the evolution of the flagship Arcona 465 to make the Arcona 345 modern inside and out. The Arcona 345 has a slightly larger sail area than the Arcona 340 to give optimised upwind performance. There is the option to have twin wheels configured which can be upgraded to carbon. With a tiller as standard, she is very responsive. The layout provides a forward cabin with plenty of room and a good-sized clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath and over the berths. The saloon has an L-shaped galley, with lots of stowage, a gimballed twin burner gas cooker with oven and a generously-sized sink and fridge; a smoothly rounded backwards-facing chart table with ample space for electronic equipment; a twin leaf saloon table, a U-shaped seating area to port and long straight settee starboard capable of seating six in comfort to dine, as well as providing two excellent sea berths on the move. The heads are spacious with separate shower facilities which is a rare and great feature for a 34-foot yacht; a deep sink, wet locker, and easy internal access to the cockpit locker through a sliding door. One aft cabin features a very large double berth, two portholes that can be opened, plenty of lockers and shelves, plus stowage under the berth. The Arcona 345 mirrors the quality and style of the rest of the Arcona fleet. With a choice between the rich Khaya Mahogany interior or the beautiful Light Oak interior, the owners’ choice of fabrics, white headlining, and plenty of ports and hatches provide light, good ventilation and unrivalled comfort. Like all Arcona models, the Arcona 345 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Our Swedish heritage shows in the beautiful lines and clean functional design. The hull and deck employ vacuum infusion technology with a sandwich construction featuring multi axial rovings and Vinylester resin. The core material is 20mm Divinycell. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. Fitted with a powerful fractional rig, the Arcona 345 sports a tapered, twin spreader, keel-stepped mast and is prepped for spinnaker equipment. For strength and stability, the bulb keel is made of antimony hardened lead. The transom is open with an integral bathing platform. The large storage locker aft is accessible from two recessed hatches in the cockpit floor. Additional storage can be found in the aft end of the cockpit bench and a cockpit table is stowed in the starboard side locker. The cockpit coaming, aft deck and sole are in teak. The side deck can be specified either in teak or in Arcona’s iconic non-slip material. Ideal for shorthanded sailing, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the regatta circuit and for cruising with family and friends.
