This size has always been the pumping heart of Contest Yachts, with each model over the years most popular for the perfect balance of sailing ease, performance and onboard comforts. Two super suites and a third cabin option, yet still a yacht that can be sailed single-handed. The Contest 50CS is a yacht for all occasions, crossing oceans or leisurely lunching in an idyllic bay. And this new design from judel/vrolijk opens even more opportunity. Fair to say, the Contest 50CS resets the yard’s own gold standard at this length. How so? The advanced hull form optimises each of the three most key modern targets: performance up and down wind, stability for low angles of heel, and huge accommodation. This is all achieved in the most sea-safe and comfortable manner expected of a Contest, and with deck and cabin plans introducing for the first time at this size so much more of our larger yacht thinking. It is the perfect balance and looking to sustainability is offered with the option of electric propulsion, integrated photovoltaic solar panels and an alternative synthetic teak-style decking.

Designed for hassle-free high performance in the lightest to heaviest weathers, when seen sailing into the bay this will be the yacht everyone lusts for: drop-dead gorgeous with graceful, well-set, balanced lines from top pedigree naval architects judel/vrolijk & co; interior styling by superyacht stars Wetzels Brown Partners; and of course the Contest guarantee of the highest standards in composite construction and contemporary outfitting. Add to that full Lloyd's Register inspection and certification, and then consider that in both three- and four-cabin configurations, this is the only such-sized yacht in sector with two identical, double VIP guest suites forward of the saloon. A combination truly not found elsewhere. You can even have a crew-cabin too if you'd prefer an extra hand. Not necessary, just another option! The key to this Contest 63CS is that although in the 'mid-sixties' sector, an extra paid crew is just not essential. It's all about family and friends in control, working the yacht, enjoying the entirety of the sailing and the huge space both above and below deck. It’s about smart sailing with simple but sophisticated short-handed sailing systems which with the option of carbon or aluminium rigs include the choice of in-boom or in-mast reefing. In-boom for more performance sail shape, from full sail to reefed. In-mast for even more speedy, simpler reefing. And in both options all lines, now including halyards, are led aft for complete pedestal and cockpit control. And for even more ease there's the option of self-tacking jib. The cockpit arrangements show the latest updates in our aft dual helm stations with central mainsheet winch and open, flat walkway through to the dep and comfortable forward leisure cockpit. Aft again there's a massive aft deck for beanbag lazing and fold-out access down to the lowered beach deck and tender garage. Moving forward of the sleek glazed coachroof to the handsome foredeck, hatches are contoured to be flush with the deck, with the largest opening to reveal an enormous sail locker cum workshop. Foresail furling is hydraulic and incorporated into the integral bowsprit and also underdeck. Simple sophistication from stem to stern for big boat sailing made easy.
A stand out boat in so many ways, the Contest 52MC Fastlane is a spectacularly successful design – especially so as she is Contest Yachts’ first ever motor boat in this league. The press can’t get enough of her, loving her looks and her handling which they say astounds, her innovative, half-planing hull riding as though on rails, tracking straight and staying flat right through the tightest of turns. With power options from twin 350hp to 550hp diesels she’s equally comfortable at 8 or 28 knots, and soft rides through the nastiest chop. And she’s a dry boat, her pronounced spray rails cascading the breaking water away. The joint creation of longstanding design partner Georg Nissen, the well known boat engineering and designer company Vripack and the yard’s own in-house design team, the 52MC is also an unusually versatile performance platform, available in Flybridge and Open Sport eas well as Fastlane f versions. Interior layouts are customisable, too, building out of a raised saloon and two heads, three sleeping cabin standard plan.

With her beautiful lines, modern hull shape, open transom, more accessible stowage and increased interior light, she continues in the tradition of the Arcona 410 as a quality performance cruiser with superb attention to detail. The Arcona 415 has twin wheels, first introduced to the Arcona fleet on the Arcona 410, which make it possible to sit well to windward with a clear view of the sails whilst the spacious cockpit has room for the whole crew when in harbour. The Arcona 415 is equipped with a Yanmar 3JH40C x SD60-5-223S as standard and can be upgraded to a diesel 4JH45C x SD60-5-223S. The Arcona 415 can also be upgraded to an Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW electric propulsion system, with variable pitch propeller technology and comes with a 23.2kWh* battery pack. A 15kW electric motor is the equivalent of a 50hp diesel engine on our 40-43ft yachts.
Ideal for sailing by two or for racing with crew, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the racecourse and indeed for cruising with family and friends. Her predecessor, the Arcona 340, successfully captured the hearts of many owners and was nominated in the category Performance Cruiser for the European Yacht of the Year 2010. We’ve taken inspiration from the design of the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year Performance Cruiser winner in 2019, and the evolution of the flagship Arcona 465 to make the Arcona 345 modern inside and out. The Arcona 345 has a slightly larger sail area than the Arcona 340 to give optimised upwind performance. There is the option to have twin wheels configured which can be upgraded to carbon. With a tiller as standard, she is very responsive. The layout provides a forward cabin with plenty of room and a good-sized clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath and over the berths. The saloon has an L-shaped galley, with lots of stowage, a gimballed twin burner gas cooker with oven and a generously-sized sink and fridge; a smoothly rounded backwards-facing chart table with ample space for electronic equipment; a twin leaf saloon table, a U-shaped seating area to port and long straight settee starboard capable of seating six in comfort to dine, as well as providing two excellent sea berths on the move. The heads are spacious with separate shower facilities which is a rare and great feature for a 34-foot yacht; a deep sink, wet locker, and easy internal access to the cockpit locker through a sliding door. One aft cabin features a very large double berth, two portholes that can be opened, plenty of lockers and shelves, plus stowage under the berth. The Arcona 345 mirrors the quality and style of the rest of the Arcona fleet. With a choice between the rich Khaya Mahogany interior or the beautiful Light Oak interior, the owners’ choice of fabrics, white headlining, and plenty of ports and hatches provide light, good ventilation and unrivalled comfort. Like all Arcona models, the Arcona 345 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Our Swedish heritage shows in the beautiful lines and clean functional design. The hull and deck employ vacuum infusion technology with a sandwich construction featuring multi axial rovings and Vinylester resin. The core material is 20mm Divinycell. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. Fitted with a powerful fractional rig, the Arcona 345 sports a tapered, twin spreader, keel-stepped mast and is prepped for spinnaker equipment. For strength and stability, the bulb keel is made of antimony hardened lead. The transom is open with an integral bathing platform. The large storage locker aft is accessible from two recessed hatches in the cockpit floor. Additional storage can be found in the aft end of the cockpit bench and a cockpit table is stowed in the starboard side locker. The cockpit coaming, aft deck and sole are in teak. The side deck can be specified either in teak or in Arcona’s iconic non-slip material.
