We purchased this “one off” Corby 34.7 back in March 2025 to do the Fastnet with in July 2025. We sailed the boat about 2,000 miles this summer and have done RORC Fastnet qualifying events, Round the Island race, the Tattinger regatta, some round the cans racing out of Lymington and completed the Fastnet in 4 days and 19 hours. This boat is great fun to sail. She is light weight (carbon, kevlar & GRP composite hull and carbon mast), responsive, balanced and very fast both up and down wind (we have regularly seen 17+ knots downwind through the water). We sailed it with a bow sprit kite set up but has the option to put the retractable pole and/or symmetric pole back on the boat. It is currently rated under IRC at 1.033. It has everything required to do offshore racing including life raft etc. (a long list of requirements – see items below). We have a survey report from March 2025 when we purchased the boat and did a few upgrades before the season started (listed below). It has a full suite of racing sails including a carbon main, J1, J2 and J3 and a racing A2 (brand new) and A4. It also comes with many cruising / delivery sails. The navigation equipment includes 2 Axion 7’s and 2 i70’s. There is a folder full of receipts and information (stix workings etc.) and a book showing its construction. Comes with collapsible cradle. The boat is located in Lymington. For sale is my Williams 285 TurboJet Rib / Tender. These are great fun machine and are great as tenders or just a very fast fun Rib. Powered by a 98hp 4 stroke Weber engine. I bought this in 2022 but haven’t had much use out of it as I have too many other boats so time to sell it. It was serviced last year by the local Williams dealer and before they in 2021 got the turbo and manifold replaced at the cost of £4658. Comes with trailer which has just had new bearings Have Bill of Sale in my name.
This is a project yacht which was first launched in 2012 but was last in the water 2019 when I decided to replace the toe rail which I was unhappy with and a new doghouse built. A lot of repainting has been done since but will need under the hull sanding and finishing done as will the cockpit area and hatch sanded and re- varnished along with various smaller jobs and a lot of cleaning. There are most of the paints needed and lots of extras including bolts, nuts, tools etc. It has a small Volvo (model no.2003) 28HP diesel inboard, mainsail, roller furling foresail, stormsail and a 14 meter aluminium mast (lying beside boat). This is a sturdy boat around 10.5 Tonnes, 11M long, 3.54M beam and a headroom of more than 6 feet in main area and would make good live aboard. Both myself and my wife are now no longer able to continue work on it let alone sailing in the future so we have had to put her up for sale. Please contact me if you need more info.
