Description
Ex customs ship on Lake Constance
Former Swiss customs ship on Lake Constance from 1930 to 1935. After that used as a pleasure craft. Moved to the Netherlands with the owner in 1990. Bought in 1997 by "Varend Friesland" in Terherne. They have conducted boat tours with it. Restoration of the ship in 1997-1998 by Shipyard "De Hoop" in Workum. The old photo in the advertisement is of the ship before launching in 1930.
Built of Oregon Pine with Mahogany superstructure.
The ship is in concours condition as it has always been meticulously maintained by an enthusiast. Not unimportantly, it has a permanent berth inside a large private boathouse where the ship is well protected from the elements.
Last slipway service and anti-fouling in April 2021
The ship is being sold due to the cessation of the boat tour business.

The engine operates under all conditions as expected. No oil loss. Engine temperature remains constant. There is no maintenance log for the engine. The timing belt has never been replaced. The engine has been regularly maintained by staff from Abma's yacht yard. Once a year and sometimes once every two years. Last filter replaced in March 2024. No leaks in the engine and cooling system. Impeller replaced in March 2024. The exhaust or parts of it have never been replaced. The ship has always been stored in the water in a frost-free berth in its own hall.
