The Pursuit S 328 will broadens the sport series range. The new OS 405 replaces the OS 385 and brings with it many significant upgrades, including a single-piece, optically clear, laminated safety glass windshield for an unobstructed view. Also new is the bottom design with 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom, aggressive bow entry and reverse chines. A Yamaha Helm Master EX joystick, autopilot and 4-hp bow thruster come standard, as do twin Stidd helm seats on the bridge deck. The port seat is elevated to improve sight lines and it swivels 180 degrees. Aft, a dinette with facing lunges converts to a berth. The OS 405 is powered by triple 450-hp Yamaha XTO outboards that push the boat to a top speed of 55.1 mph at 6000 rpm. At a cruising speed of 28.5 mpg (3500 rpm) the boat has a range of 317 miles. The OS 405 goes from a standing start to 30 mph in 12.6 seconds. Sipwake interceptors help keep the boat balanced and a Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabilizer smooths the roll at rest and slow speeds.
