Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised C – “Coastal”

 

MECAL Workboat Certificate of Compliance  - expires 28.02.2029.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull and topsides laminated in E-Glass Hybrid.
• Carbon Bi-axial and unidirectional stiffening, with Kevlar reinforcement.
• High density linear core used in bottom panels with high slamming loads.
• Re-painted in Matt Grey – 2023.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 2 x 2020 FPT 570S. 570 hp diesel.
• ZF 280-1 marine transmission.
• Spare FPT 4570S diesel engine.
• Spare ZF gearbox. 

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Cruising speed: 40 knots.
• Quoted maximum speed: 60-65 knots.
• Last service date @ March 2024.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• 2 x Trimax surface drives to 5-bladed Rolla cleaver stainless steel propellors.
• Hydraulic power-assisted steering.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• 24 Volt ships system.

 

Battery Banks:

• 3 x Battery banks: Service, Port and Starboard engine cranking.
• Service – 4 x 12V Mastervolt AGM 160AH connected as 24V (2023).
• Port & Stbd cranking – 2 x 12V Odyssey Extreme AGM batteries connected as 24V (2023).
• Dedicated Mastervolt Shunt to each bank (connected to Masterbus & to C-Zone screen (2023).
• 4 x BlueSea remote battery isolators.
• Maintained supply from service bank to C-Zone , bilge pumps, fire system, charger feed, inverter, and charger feed.
• Emergency battery parallel switching.

 

Battery Charger:

• Victron Energy Skylla-IP65 24V/35A/3 output battery charger (2023).

 

Alternators:

• 2 x Secondary 24V Mastervolt alternators (with regulators) to charge service bank whilst underway.

 

Shore Power:

• 230V ring main fitted, with cable.
