I have a down payment on a off shore boat build and need to sell my flats boat. I have done many upgrades to it and has been by far my favorite flats boat I've owned through the years. It drafts in about 4inches of water less of u really have no weight and don't mind using some muscle. Also with the V in the front it handles bay chop very well and doesn't slam like most flats boats. The boat drives very nimbly and cuts through the water and turns on a dime. I have the minkota Ipilot with two dedicated optima blue tops, brown sea deck, micro power pole, Lowrance HDSlive, two live wells, front insulated ice box, huge front storage as well as rear and mid console storage. This boat is a do it all flats boat with no issues and all the upgrades you could ask for to make it perfect. Price is negotiable within reason.
Ask any Arima owner how much the love their boat. It's pretty hard to find a boat that can do what a Sea Chaser can do for the upfront and continued operating costs. It was a great first boat for my son, daughter, spouses and I, but we have outgrown it. They have 4 little ones now and we need to go bigger. We have maintained it well and added some working prototypes to maximize operation in the southern California offshore kelp paddy spotting and tuna chasing fishery. We have made a raised platform in the cuddy for paddy spotting and jig throwing. Basically, a mini tuna tower. There is an enclosure around the bait tank that keeps all the pliers,dikes,braid scissors,knives,gaffs,billy club,rods and chum bucket ready to grab. Seats in the stern have been fabricated for a dry, smooth ride for 2. Storage in the cuddy has been maximized with hatches and a tackle station. The plan was to have the mods. fabricated in aluminum in the offseason. The buyer can keep them and the stock seats or I can remove them and put it back to original. It only takes a couple of hours. It is stored 4 miles from Oceanside harbor, detailed and ready for a sea trial and an offshore run.
