The Arcona 415 is equipped with a Yanmar 3JH40C x SD60-5-223S as standard and can be upgraded to a diesel 4JH45C x SD60-5-223S. The Arcona 415 can also be upgraded to an Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW electric propulsion system, with variable pitch propeller technology and comes with a 23.2kWh* battery pack. A 15kW electric motor is the equivalent of a 50hp diesel engine on our 40-43ft yachts.

This size has always been the pumping heart of Contest Yachts, with each model over the years most popular for the perfect balance of sailing ease, performance and onboard comforts. The Ferretti Yachts 670 is actually a 67-footer (measuring 20.24 m), albeit with amenities typical of rather larger craft. Pershing 5X is the first page of a fabulous new chapter in the history of Pershing.

A stand out boat in so many ways, the Contest 52MC Flybridge is a spectacularly successful design. And in this version with fully accommodated flybridge, there’s even more for the press to love. Her looks astounding perhaps even more so as a two-decker with perfect design balance that, also in terms of handling, retains the same innovative, half-planing hull riding as though on rails, tracking straight and staying flat right through the tightest of turns. With power options from twin 350hp to 550hp diesels she’s equally comfortable at 8 or 28 knots, and soft rides through the nastiest chop. And she’s a dry boat, her pronounced spray rails cascading the breaking water away. The joint creation of longstanding design partner Georg Nissen, the well known boat engineering and designer company Vripack and the yard’s own in-house design team, the 52MC is also an unusually versatile performance platform, available in Fastlane  and Open Sport as well as Flybridge versions. With her amazing spaces, unexpected headroom and abundance of areas to enjoy, she takes the cruising experience to a new level. She is the fruit of a partnership between our Product Strategy Committee and the Engineering department – the second yacht with external design by Salvetti and Ferretti Group, with interiors by our own architects and designers. The spacious master cabin echoes the play of colours and materials that grace the main deck, in a peerless private setting that’s a joy to discover.The minimalist yet detailed design provides a continual counterpoint to the walk-in wardrobe and the grand bathroom, where the smoked-glass inserts and functionality of form are in tune with current trends. The winning style of this desirable new model is based on a blend of contrasting textures. The striped ceiling, the ribbed surface of the walls, the grid-pattern headboards and the lounge furniture’s oblique-stripe motif play off one another in a profound natural harmony. The lighting design is an attribute that is unique to the 720. Ideal for sailing by two or for racing with crew, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the racecourse and indeed for cruising with family and friends. Her predecessor, the Arcona 340, successfully captured the hearts of many owners and was nominated in the category Performance Cruiser for the European Yacht of the Year 2010. We’ve taken inspiration from the design of the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year Performance Cruiser winner in 2019, and the evolution of the flagship Arcona 465 to make the Arcona 345 modern inside and out. The Arcona 345 has a slightly larger sail area than the Arcona 340 to give optimised upwind performance. There is the option to have twin wheels configured which can be upgraded to carbon. With a tiller as standard, she is very responsive. The layout provides a forward cabin with plenty of room and a good-sized clothes locker each side of the dressing area, with more stowage beneath and over the berths. The saloon has an L-shaped galley, with lots of stowage, a gimballed twin burner gas cooker with oven and a generously-sized sink and fridge; a smoothly rounded backwards-facing chart table with ample space for electronic equipment; a twin leaf saloon table, a U-shaped seating area to port and long straight settee starboard capable of seating six in comfort to dine, as well as providing two excellent sea berths on the move. The heads are spacious with separate shower facilities which is a rare and great feature for a 34-foot yacht; a deep sink, wet locker, and easy internal access to the cockpit locker through a sliding door. One aft cabin features a very large double berth, two portholes that can be opened, plenty of lockers and shelves, plus stowage under the berth. The Arcona 345 mirrors the quality and style of the rest of the Arcona fleet. With a choice between the rich Khaya Mahogany interior or the beautiful Light Oak interior, the owners’ choice of fabrics, white headlining, and plenty of ports and hatches provide light, good ventilation and unrivalled comfort. Like all Arcona models, the Arcona 345 is built with the latest materials and advanced techniques. Our Swedish heritage shows in the beautiful lines and clean functional design. The hull and deck employ vacuum infusion technology with a sandwich construction featuring multi axial rovings and Vinylester resin. The core material is 20mm Divinycell. All bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck for added strength. Fitted with a powerful fractional rig, the Arcona 345 sports a tapered, twin spreader, keel-stepped mast and is prepped for spinnaker equipment. For strength and stability, the bulb keel is made of antimony hardened lead. The transom is open with an integral bathing platform. The large storage locker aft is accessible from two recessed hatches in the cockpit floor. Additional storage can be found in the aft end of the cockpit bench and a cockpit table is stowed in the starboard side locker. The cockpit coaming, aft deck and sole are in teak. The side deck can be specified either in teak or in Arcona’s iconic non-slip material. Ideal for shorthanded sailing, the 34ft/10.4m Arcona 345 is set to be a new favourite performance cruiser on the regatta circuit and for cruising with family and friends.

At a size allowing four spacious guest cabins and fully enclosable galley and crew quarters, the Contest 72CS, flagship of the Contest fleet, provides the perfect platform for both owner driver or skipper and crew assisted sailing. And the nature of wide ranging options spans just about every element of this truly semi-custom build, with bulkhead positioning almost the only constraint. Deliveries to date span full carbon rig with Park Lane boom and 3Di moulded sails to alloy spars and vertically battened Vectra with in-mast furling. With one approach racing, one cruising, one more private with forward galley, one inclusive with aft U-shaped galley, choice and specification is entirely personal.  Beneath this freedom, there lies extensive design engineering pre-empting likelihoods with proven practice and application. Designed for fast passage with powerful, practical, deep-ocean cruising capability, the Contest 85CS is easily sailed, managed and maintained by short-handed crew, and perfectly set both to sail the world and enjoy sailing’s high society. This is our first step into the fully crewed 80+ foot sector and is made in design partnership with celebrated German naval architects judel/vrolijk & co, combining their performance design expertise with our proven, innovative construction practices completed with Lloyds’ plan approval and hull certification. The Contest 85CS will provide for both distance cruising and regatta participation as well as very social sailing, extending the potential for performance cruising of both new and upsizing owners with comfortable capacity for up to ten guests in a customisable interior arrangement.
