CWB rider Mark Kenney took second place at the first event of the 2002 season.



CWB has signed Chris Law and Laura Lohrman — as well as resigning Mark Kenney — to its professional wakeboarding team for 2002. Last season's Rookie of the Year, Law finished ninth in the tour standing and fourth in the Triple Crown standings in 2001. A strong competitor, Lohrman finished in the top 10 of professional women riders in 2001.

At the first event of the season in Orlando, Fla., April 6-7, Kenney finished second and Law took tenth.

Law, Lohrman and Kenney will join CWB pro riders Zane Schwenk, Joel Cahill, Rob Struharik, Joey Arcisz and Matt Lockwood. Recently added to CWB's national team roster are Jeff House and Ben Carley.
