MYS 2024 Itinery Highlights
There will be 120 yachts berthed at the marina, but here are a few standout superyachts to whet your appetite:
Kismet
A highly-anticipated highlight is the colossal-sized shiny new build KISMET built by Lürssen and available for weekly charter with boutique superyacht brokerage Cecil Wright for $3.25 million.
Rather confusingly, there are two Kismet superyachts, both Lürssen.-built and owned by sports tycoon and Jacksonville Jaguars football club owner Shahid Khan. The most recent vessel is larger, with the older version now sold and has been renamed Whisper.
The 400-footer features a glass bubble-shaped underwater observatory, known as the Nemo lounge, where guests can observe the vibrant marine life. Other highlights include a palatial owner's suite which combines two penthouses in one, a cinema a Balinese-inspired spa as part of a wellness sanctuary, and a retro Justin Timberlake-style retro dance floor. Other highlights include a sky lounge, a large sports bar, a beauty suite, a gym, a helipad which converts into a basketball court and an array of water sports toys and tenders. The long-pointed bow is crowned by a silver jaguar statue representing the Jacksonville Jaguars football team.
Designed by Nuvolari Lenard for the exterior and Reymond Langton Design for the interior. The supersized yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in 8 staterooms, and a crew of 37. Social areas and dining areas are designed to host larger parties, with capacity for 24 on the upper deck, 18 on the main deck and 14 on both the top and pool decks.
A cutting-edge hybrid powertrain combined with a full-electric mode that will position KISMET among the most powerful superyachts in the world.
There is a thermal recovery system in the generators for heating the pool water, and dynamic positioning for electronic anchoring in marine-sensitive and remote areas, both of these features are a manifestation of Lürssen's commitment to sustainability and safety.
