img70332After an extremely successful and highly acclaimed first season, North
U is returning this spring (March and April) for another series of Performance
Race Weeks with Offshore Sailing School at its South Seas Resort branch
on Captiva Island, Florida.

For new racers, those who currently race and those who are looking to move
up in their fleet, the program features two days of performance instruction
designed to improve boat handling, sail trim and spinnaker skills, plus
three days of on-water racing instruction. A final day's regatta for prizes,
morning multi-media seminars that bring tactical scenarios to life and
evening video review sessions highlight the week.

"This is total immersion in racing. If you want to win more sailboat races
this summer, come to Captiva this spring," said Bill Gladstone, North U
Director.

With almost 50 hours of instruction and more starts and races than most
sailors get in an entire season, participants are guaranteed to improve
their results on the race course; they'll learn from North's expert sailmaker-instructors
and Offshore's own staff of top-notch racing instructors. Each North U
expert is a champion racing sailor, selected for his or her ability to
coach and impart racing knowledge.

"I learned more in a week than I have in three years and would highly recommend
this course to anyone who wants to improve their racing skills," noted
Neil Harrison of Mason, MI who participated in last spring's Race Weeks.

All racing for the week is aboard Offshore's award-winning fleet of identical
Cogate 26's — choice of the United States Naval Academy and the United
Kingdom Sailing Academy, Europe's most prestigious sailing school. New
for 2002 are special divisions and prizes for COLGATE 26 owners, yacht
clubs and women-only boats.

Program dates for 2002 are March 17-24, March 31-April 7 and April 21-28.
Package prices start at $2044 per person, double occupancy. Special discounts
are available for yacht clubs and teams of four. For complete information
