ORLANDO, Fla. — Regal Marine Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of sport boats, cruisers, and yachts is adding a plant in Valdosta, Ga. Founded by Paul and Carol Kuck in 1969l the company builds models from 18 to 43 feet long.

The additional facility will help the company meet increased demand in the larger-boat market. "Our recent success in the larger express yacht and sedan-bridge categories and the introduction of five new models for 2002 has created the need to expand our manufacturing capacity," said Duane Kuck, Regal's president, in a press release from the company. "This new plant increases our production space by 50 percent and will allow for current and future expansion of our product line."

Regal?s current facility in Orlando has more than 300,000 square feet of
manufacturing space. Approximately 650 people work at the plant.
