SEVERNA PARK, Md. — The National Marine Electronics Association today announced this year's recipients of the product awards distributed at NMEA's Annual Convention and Exposition October 20-23, 2004 at The Registry Resort & Club in Naples, Florida. The NMEA product awards recognize excellence in design, performance and reliability in marine electronics products. The awards are selected by votes from marine electronics dealers, distributors and other industry professionals. According to the rules, each active, non- manufacturer member of the NMEA and each NMEA- certified marine electronics technician are allowed to cast one vote. At this year's Convention there were 35 participating companies and a total of 118 nominated products.
