A Tug Named Tommy Lee
Winter's almost over, we swear. And what better way to celebrate than with a canal cruise?
March 16, 2014
After a long cold winter, especially one that seems to be hanging on long past its sell-by date, it's nice to dream of canal cruising. And we've found just the boat to turn that dream into reality: The liveaboard tug Tommy Lee. Best of all, she's already in Europe, close to some of the best canal cruising in the world.
At 50 feet and with bunks for five, there's no need to rough it on this boat. She was converted to cruising in 1986, from her original task as a commercial barge towing vessel.
Wouldn't a European canal cruise that be a nice way to celebrate the end of winter?
