LAKE HAMILTON, Fla. — Schedules for the 2001 HYDRO-PROP season feature six Unlimited hydroplane events and eight Formula One tunnel-boat events. The Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane Tour is presented by Laughlin (Nev.) and the Formula One P.R.O.P. Tour is presented by Bud Light.

"Both series return to traditional venues where they have been competing for a number of years and receive remarkable fan support," said Bart Garbrecht, CEO of HYDRO-PROP, in a press release from the organization. "We are also looking forward to Tri-Cities, San Diego, and Detroit, where fans will be treated to deck-to-deck racing from both the Unlimited hydroplanes and Formula One Powerboats. "One of our goals was to bring both Hydros and Formula One races to the same venue and we are excited to say that this will happen in 2001 with these three races."
