Nautor Swan 461: Back to the Blue Water

The Swan 461 represents a key milestone for Nautor, taking the entry-level position in the new and improved 'cruising line'. Historically, models of this size have formed the biggest part of Nautor's core business, with success stories such as the Swan 40 and Swan 44 characterising the beautiful lines that have become synonymous with all Swans on the water today.

In recent years, Nautor has successfully produced and launched a new 'racing' dimension to the Swan range with the runaway success of the Swan 45 and Nautor's first one-design class, as well as the sleek Swan 70, which has made an impressive mark on the international racing circuit. Although racing remains a very important part of Nautor's overall strategy, it is the cruising models that reflect the foundations and traditions that have made the Nautor brand what it is today. It is a fact that most of Swan owners use their yachts primarily for cruising and with this in mind, Nautor has committed significant investment into a new and improved cruising orientated range.

This phase of Nautor's overall strategy started with the launch of the Swan 62, Swan 82 and Swan 75. This phase has now taken a step forward with the launch of the Swan 461.
