Jeanneau Sun Fast 40

Jeanneau makes its entry into the crowded 40' racer/cruiser fleet with the new Sun Fast 40. Jeanneau asked designer Daniel Andrieu to create a true multi-purpose boat, with speed potential to keep up with other 40' racer/cruisers, yet retain a comfortable interior for cruising and weekending. The Sun Fast line by Jeanneau accentuates the racer in racer/cruiser; their Sun Odyssey line is targeted specifically at the cruising market.

The Sun Fast 40 comes in two keel configurations: the Performance Version with a lead/iron keep and 2.40 meters of draft, or the Standard Version iron keel with 1.95 meters.

Jeanneau has taken a page from the Wally Yachts textbook and created a clean, wide, semi-flush deck. All winches and deck hardware are from Harken. The rig is a triple swept spreader configuration.

More options for the interior as well: a 2 cabin, single bath, with cabins fore and aft, a 3 cabin (two aft, split), 1 bath (situated portside, opposite the galley), and a 3 cabin, 2 bath, with the second washroom in the forecabin.
