Back in 2008, the PWC Freeride community was dealt a serious blow when Zach Waddle and Libby Minium were killed by a drunk driver while attending the Blowsion Beach Party in Pacific City, Oregon. Compounding the tragedy was that the couple had a 1-year-old son, Mason.

In the two years since, the freeride community has come together to hold an annual Mason Waddle Fundraiser Dinner. This year’s event will take place June 13th in San Clemente, California, and include a $15 barbecue dinner, with all proceeds going to Mason Waddle’s trust fund. There will also be a silent auction (with prizes donated by Kommander Industries, MotoOption Clothing, Liquid Militia Clothing, Hydro-Turf and Slippery), raffle, and giveaways.

As the event’s Facebook page notes, the evening will “hopefully bring forth a multitude of PWC extremists for a great night of food, drink, storytelling, and possibly some great future stories.”

Sounds like a good time…and for a very good cause. Attend if you can…
