Opal Marine is launching several new models in the Bavaria, Bavaria Match and Legend series at this year's Southampton Boat Show.

img9724The new Legend 27 is brand new small boat boasting exceptional design with surprisingly spacious accommodation for a yacht of this length. This is a lively cruising boat which also can be raced offering its owners exhilarating sailing with its unique easy to handle rig and uncluttered cockpit. The 27 will be extremely easy to control single-handed or with minimal crew. Keel options include a bilge-keeled version for tidal moorings and comfortable drying berths or a deep fin for that added performance. Legend yachts are renowned for value and the new 27 is no exception, providing a superb entry into this exciting range of US and British built yachts. The Legend 27 will be available in three versions: Cruising, Racing and Basic entry level.

Also being launched in this range is the superb Legend 38, a completely new design for Legend offering outstanding accommodation and on deck space coupled with sparkling sailing performance. The Legend 38 will also be offered with a bilge keel option.

img9723Opal Marine will be launching two new additions to the internationally reputed Bavaria range - the Bavaria 42 and 46. With a host of outstanding new design features both the 42 and 46 have been carefully developed to provide even better cruising with new and creative interior and exteriors to give a more spacious and lighter ambience in the accommodation and practical sailing on deck.

img9722Introduced last year the highly successful Bavaria 38 Match cruiser/racer will be joined for the first time by sister yachts, the Match 35 and Match 42. This will be the first time these yachts have been seen in Europe. The Match 38 has already acquitted itself admirably on the race course with several outstanding wins in Mediterranean, winner of Kip Regatta and 2nd in the Bell Lawrie Scottish Series. The 35 and 42 complete the series with a potent option for serious racing and comfortable, well planned cruising accommodation when needed.

The Opal Marine range of Bavaria Cruisers and Legend yachts can be found on stand F7 , the Bavaria Match Series on stand F9 and the Island Packet range on berths 103 to 108.
