Available in digital LCD or analog models, Nordskog Performance Products GPS-controlled Marine Speedometers provide accurate speed readings. The company's fixed-mount GPS speedometers recently were granted a U.S. patent.

The 3/8-inch diameter speedometers, which are offered in black- and white-face versions, feature multiple functions including top speed recall. The digital LCD model can also display direction (compass), voltage and tachometer readings.

Backlit models also are available. A 12-volt power wire, ground wire and dimmer wire are included for backlit gauges.

The gauges, which include the GPS receiver and antenna, are priced at approximately $400.
