August 28, 2001
Crestliner designed the new 202 Tournament Series RCL Edition for the best anglers in the world. Tournament fishermen are switching to this boat because it offers features they need to stay competitive on tour. The RCL has a Tru-V 17-degree UniWeld Hull Design with Crestliner's Quick-Shot Transom and TruTrac Center Keel for a high, dry ride and superior boat control.
The Flow-Rite Livewell/Baitwell System features a 27-gallon livewell, two baitwells, light, timer and remote drainage. This rig also has a rod management system that cradles 11 rods and keeps them ready.
Additional standard features include: hydraulic steering with tilt wheel, premium elevated consoles, battery monitoring system, slide-out tackle trays, rod savers, bow and stern trolling motor outlets, master power switch, 12-volt power outlet, Pro-Form II fishing chairs, custom carpet with "RCL" logos and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with two speakers.
For storage, the Tournament Series RCL Edition has side compartments, under-console storage and cargo-netting under the bow gunwales to keep essentials within easy reach. The RCL Edition also carries Crestliner's 20+3 Protection Plan. This warranty covers external hull welds for 20 years and virtually everything else from bow to stern for three years.
Leading walleye pros Rick Olson and Norb Wallock both fish the RCL Special Edition. According to Olson, "The RCL is the smartest, most decked-out rig on tour."
Wallock said, "I can fish any boat out there, so naturally I chose the one that's gonna help me win tournaments. When I saw the RCL, there was no contest."
Crestliner builds a wide variety of all-welded aluminum boats, pontoons and deck boats from 12 to 24 feet.
